3 Item(s) Page 1 of 1 | 1 How It WorksI Must Garden All Natural Squirrel Repellent works so well because it contains many different substances that squirrels naturally do not like. The individual ingredients have repelling properties, but it is the unique combination of ingredients and our proprietary blending procedures, that result in a strong and yet harmless formula. We use many botanical oils and other natural products and rigorously tested all of the ingredients to create the most effective spray and granular repellents. It is primarily for use on plants and inorganic objects that squirrels often damage, and it will stick to an extensive variety of surfaces. Our repellent irritates squirrels’ nasal passages, which annoys them and discourages them from hanging around the treated areas. It also makes your plants and yard furniture taste unpleasant to them if they attempt to snack or gnaw on it. Like all of our products, our Squirrel Repellent is fully guaranteed to work without having an unpleasant stench like other repellents. Because we use only all natural ingredients, it is not harmful for the environment and is a safe alternative to use around your pets and family. Application TipsSquirrels will eat parts of plants that other animals cannot reach. If you notice upper parts of your bushes being consumed or blooms being significantly damaged above the ground, your culprit is probably a squirrel, rather than a rabbit or a deer. Squirrels will pick vines clean of their leaves and flowers and are also good for taking a bite of a tomato and then throwing it on the ground. They dig up your flowerbeds looking for bulbs, making a huge mess and tossing out your grown plants. They are capable of eating holes completely through trellises and your porch and they will chew on spark plug wires in your car. It is never a pleasant surprise when your car will not start on your way to work! They do unsightly damage to outdoor furniture and if they happen to get into the walls of your house, scratching and chewing noises will plague you as well. I Must Garden’s Squirrel Repellent is easy to use. For plants, spray the flowers, leaves and buds. For bulbs, coat them with repellent and then let them dry before planting them. Also coat garbage cans, outdoor furniture, planters, corners of your house and the surrounding areas-wherever squirrels are chewing. Our spray will stick to all of these surfaces! Inorganic objects made of plastic, metal, concrete, etc. may initially require more frequent applications so the squirrels get the hint. Reapply the spray as needed-usually every 1 to 3 weeks depending on weather conditions and the surrounding squirrel population. During periods of heavy rain or intense animal pressure more frequent spraying may be required. Test the product on inconspicuous areas in case of damage or discoloration. In wet weather, or if you find yourself unable to spray as much as you would like because of fast-growing plants and your busy schedule, you can also use I Must Garden’s Granular Squirrel Repellent along with our squirrel spray. Just sprinkle it around the base of your plants to ensure that your new growth always has protection. It works particularly well if you mix it with the soil as you are planting new bulbs or if squirrels are eating around the stalks or stems of your plants. When used in conjunction with our spray, you can ensure that your yard will be protected. Do you need more help with your squirrel problem? |
