A MagniMoist Liner is a Better Liner
MagniMoist will help you grow more vibrant and colorful hanging baskets this season.
Here are just a few of the benefits:
- Magnifies the water-holding capacity of potting soil
- Proven to dramatically improve the look and health of plants
- Preferred for city and street baskets
- Easy to cut and shape
How It Works
MagniMoist doesn’t let water escape from your basket until your plant is completely hydrated. When you water, MagniMoist’s smart fiber deflects water back into the dry soil above it. Then when the soil is fully saturated, the fiber becomes porous and releases only the excess water. You’ll also save more fertilizer because MagniMoist reduces runoff and enhances plant uptake.
The special patent-pending MagniMoist fiber is an all-natural, U.S.-grown formulation with a 100% recycled binder. We produce MagniMoist to strict horticultural standards in the United States. We promise NO chemical binders and NO fumigants. That’s a guarantee you can’t get with imported coco or moss liners.
Dr. Neil Anderson at the University of Minnesota trialed 10 baskets lined with MagniMoist against 10 lined with coco. MagniMoist outperformed Coco!
“MagniMoist is Superior to Coco”
That’s the University of Minnesota’s conclusion after testing MagniMoist against coco liners. “In our 2003 display gardens, 10 baskets lined with coco fiber were trialed against 10 identical baskets lined with MagniMoist liners. With each flower combination, the MagniMoist liner either met or exceeded the performance of coco fiber.”
-Dr. Neil Anderson, Dept. of Horticultural Science, University of Minnesota.
For lining larger window boxes, troughs or hayrack planters, simply overlap two or more liners. Fill with soil and plant as normal.
The following chart outlines size combinations:
30" planter = one 30" window box liner
36" planter = two 18" window box liners
48" planter = one 30" & one 18" window box liner
60" planter = two 30" window box liners
